Slurping hot drinks and/or eating/chewing when not on mute. It incites murderous tendencies that only consultants withhold on a daily basis.

likefunny

I do too but I can’t when they’re talking AND chewing AND slurping at the same time haha

When someone messages me with "Hi need a favor" and won't expand on what it is until I respond.

C1 is the person we all are scared to get IMs from 😂

I have so many: Reply all to say “thanks” to someone Not reading my email and answering only 1 out of the 3 questions (I should learn my lesson and ask only one per email) Adding people to the email chain so that it becomes confusing who is who Email signatures with some pathetic quote or religious quote People who skype me for favors (we are not friends!!) Emails that don’t specify what exactly they want from you.

like

When people don't actually read your email and reply back without answering your questions 😑

like

My pm uses literally no punctuation, like he wants everyone to think he’s too busy for commas. Every email reads like this: “Hi I just noticed that this is incorrect and also I remembered that I need you to do x and y ideally I need this immediately and also I am very stressed Please return ASAP Thanks (his name)” Makes me feel like he’s going to have a heart attack at any given point

funny

Getting them/non-friends using it as a way to communicate.

like

-> Signatures being too long on drawn out email chains where reading the whole chain from the beginning is important.

like

Email, no contact details in their signature. Skype, people who keep IM-ing me when it's clear I'm presenting or in a conference call. Also, IM-ing me asking for a quick call and then immediately calling me before I had a chance to respond. I don't answer your call on principle.

Skype: it exists (Seriously the teams rollout can’t go any slower)

I’m 36, earn 100k and I work maybe 30 hours a week, and I’m a shining star. It allows me to enjoy life without stress. I can linger around and see myself (slowly) climbing the ladder. But part of me wants to put in hard work and grow a lot in my career and earn more for a stable financial future, but it means I’ve got to work more and stress more and I’m worried I won’t get time to relax and enjoy my life as before. But also I’m worried I’ll slack off. Anyone going through this? Would I regret?

Google Classroom and Zoom was on the fritz all morning. Lord, I have never worked so fast at multitasking of talking to a few students on Zoom, the rest of the students through Go Guardian, texting parents through ClassDojo, and calling parents. I was only able to teach math and science 🤣

I am copying the lead sentence from Monica Burn's June 21, 2021 article for you, but I really want to know if anyone is using this app. "Reading Progress is a new, free app built right into Microsoft Teams." It looks good to me on the surface for ALL teachers and is time efficient! Any thoughts?

I’m working on a product that helps to make life on Slack more productive. The purpose of this Slackbot is to answer questions automatically using content that has already been shared in Slack. Any tips on how to promote a tool like this? It’s in the functional MVP stage and I’m looking for free users to provide feedback.

I don’t have any consulting experience, maybe just a few cases at school. I don’t consider myself aggressive, I’m more of a laid-back person. Im hard working and don’t mind working high hours. The reason I want to make the switch is 1) I think consulting work is generally more interesting; 2) more exit opportunitie
