I feel like the first seems more exciting and challenging if you want to continue to step on the gas intensity wise. Your interest in the company and industry will probably lead you to success while it will probably be hard to fake interest in the second one and you could end up looking for an exit in another couple years

Think it comes down to how much you value the industry you work in. If it’s high, go with the first one. If it’s low, I’d go option 2 as your summary makes it seem like option 2 offers a “friendlier” work environment where you have more input (since you’re leading a team)
