Every time I write a cover letter, I wonder if I’m playing it too safe. I stick to the traditional format—polite intro, bullet points on experience, a formal closing. But with so many applicants, does playing by the rules make me forgettable? I’ve thought about injecting more personality, storytelling, maybe even a bold hook to stand out. But would that be seen as refreshing or unprofessional? Has anyone here taken a more creative approach and actually landed the job? Or is it better to stick to the classic structure and let the resume do the heavy lifting?

Are there any spreadsheets or charts showing reference points for self report surveys for compensation? Maybe from FB users on salaries, tier city comparisons, level/role, different companies etc?

What pain points are folks experiencing in the digital media space? Most of what I am hearing is related to audience targeting (privacy issues) and conversion measurement (specifically attributing advertising to brick-and-mortar bottom line). Curious if “the bowl” has any thing else that comes to mind?

a) The salary will be paid in USDT which when converted will have 30% tax in India per the recent budget guideline.
