Every Deloitte person on here seems like a moron, are you all actually that bad or is it just a few bad apples?
I kid 😂 (I mean every joke has a source of truth right .......... )
I can attest a good bit of idiots here truthfully lol
I came over here from Accenture - and the grass is so much greener. Are there things I wish we could change, absolutely. I work about the same hours, but the perks/pay are significantly better then what I had.
I think the answer is the same whether it’s BCG, McKinsey, or Bain - don’t think there’s anything unique about BCG’s hours or culture that are causing these posts
Hours can differ person to person. I’ve averaged 55-60 hours over the past 1.5 years as an associate at BCG

IMO the pay and hours aren’t any worse than McKinsey or Bain, but BCG North America has made some questionable decisions over the past year that have led to low morale. That’s probably why you’re seeing more complaining from BCGers on here relative to its peer firms.
For what it’s worth, McKinsey hasn’t reinstated meal expenses either (we got more budget to expense food for team events and office events)
I love it here. You have to take everything on FB with a grain of salt because it skews negatively.

It depends
I joined recently so obviously have the disadvantage of a small sample size, but I’ve been working somewhere between 55-65 hours and see a path to keeping it closer to 55 going forward (at least on this case)

🚨Opposite question🚨 I am interviewing with BCG soon and am trying to understand some things that differentiate them from their peers. What’s great about BCG relative to the other MBB firms? :)
Sarcasm?
