I just got a job offer from Chase for an expansion branch as a relationship banker. 50K base with $1500 guaranteed commission for the first year. Is this on par or could I get a bit more with a counter? 7 years military leadership experience, 7 years sales experience , and 2 semester away from completing my MBA. I don’t consider myself tech savvy at all so I’m feeling “left behind” for career advancement without knowing things like SQL/Tableau or being an expert in modeling. And I’m not even old. Unsure how to proceed in my career with just a BA in Finance. Sigh.

I got offer from vmware. I recently joined a company about 6 month back and If I am switching vmware in short time, I wanted to have a long term (~5 yrs) career with it. Techskills wise, I am good and learner. I heard recently, vmware layoffs particular team at China even though they have good tech skills.

Hi there, I’d really love some advice from you all. In the last year I had to sell our home in Boulder, CO and embark on a new build process on a home in Tampa, FL. It turns out my dad can’t afford to live on his own so we found a home in FL that would have an in law suite. We locked in a rate but it expired and they are unwilling to extend due to the fact the builder is delayed and supply chain issues. Is there a smart way to structure loans now I’m unaware of?
