Option 1 has a risk.
I always go for the option 2.
Its slightly easier to get the offer extended. N in the mean time you can try n find some other offer as well that could act like backup.

Generally companies do wait for 2 months, its not a bigger deal.
So you can let them know while releasing the offer that you have 2 months notice period but you can join in a month after discussing about buyout with your company .
In such cases, they do release the offer.

Don't you think TCS will also include your last working day in your relieving letter? Your explanation must align with the last working day stated in your relieving letter. Furthermore, I believe that if the Background Verification (BGV) team contacts TCS, they will confirm the same date. Therefore, I strongly advise against misrepresenting your last working day. Instead, negotiate for an extension with Nagarro, attributing the delay to TCS's current release process. Alternatively, negotiate with TCS for an earlier release.
