Our Corporate Office is about an hour outside of Boston, MA. I will say I am given a lot of learning opportunity and as much flexibility as possible when working in a call center type environment that has set hours. I’m just torn if I should be trying to look somewhere else for higher pay where I can also learn or stay in my current situation.
It never hurts to look - you don’t have to take something else, but can see what else is out there. A pretty consistent rule of thumb is that you don’t make as much staying at a company as you will going somewhere new - but of course that’s not the only thing that matters. If you’re happy with your role, team, managers, benefits, and growth opportunities that can matter more than a bump in pay.
Depends on which area you’re working from but if you are from the Bay Area, California then you are not getting paid fairly. HR Administrator (People Ops Specialist) gets paid around 65k here in the Bay Area, California.
This seems low, but it definitely depends on your company's location and size. Different companies have different policies about what they pay for remote employees, and of course larger companies tend to pay more. If your company is small-mid size I could see that pay making sense.
That sounds right on the money for your role. However you didn’t mention the other parts of your total compensation package such as extended health benefits, share purchase, bonus, etc.
