If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

Some of these advisory seniors could be MBAs hence the super high salary
This is even better

$120k for an third-year advisory senior, maybe. In risk assurance a manager is clearing $100k in NYC so I am very skeptical of these numbers unless PwC is seriously paying less. I started at $58k in NYC last year in risk assurance, do you really think assurance staff at EY are making $75 for the same exact role?
The high Advisory numbers are primarily from National Advisory (e.g. PI), not Risk "Advisory."
The numbers on the gov website are real. Employers can't lie on these applications. So believe it.
I think it is difficult for folks in traditional service lines (that includes myself) to believe that ey does pay a lot in other service lines for working the same number of hours...but that is the reality of the job
Dumb question but which one is the actual wage paid? Is it the "wage required" or the "prevailing wage"?
Wage required
No way it is wage required. Prevailing wage looks more realistic.
It is wage required...prevailing is as per government min wages blah blah
And it makes sense to me...an advisory senior gets paid 120k...pretty well known fact...the prevailing might be 75k
I mean looking at the prevailing for tax staff in NY and that's low. Big4 were starting people at 60 and higher and prevailing is mid 50s on here.
Yeah...prevailing depends on a lot of factors like government laws, minimum wages, qualifications etc. The prevailing is published as a benchmark as it is mandated by the government to pay H1bs at or higher than prevailing but not lower
It's a very generic LCA filing not h1b. You sir are not Sherlock
@EY 3...These are actual salaries paid because I saw my own LCA in there and the numbers matched to the dollar
I know that Risk Advisory = Risk Assurance, I just find these numbers crazy. If a first year senior in my group is making like 75-80 in NYC, it's amazing that an advisory senior could be $120k out the door.
I saw 120 for a Advisory senior in Georgia. Doesn't make sense. For the higher wages, I looked at the position titles and I noticed an actuary for a higher one. That would make sense for it to be so high.
