I interviewed for M&A execution group. What is the base salary for a director ? I think it’s manager equaling at other consulting firms. Does EY Parthenon offer a signing bonus for experienced hires? Looking for insight from 🐠 at Simon Kucher. Had a recruiter reach out and am going to speak with the Head Partner of one of their practices in Atlanta. Curious any feedback on culture, types of projects, comp, opportunity within the firm, etc. How does it compare to big 4 / ACN? Would be coming in at manager or director level.

Advisory manager at big 4, getting 25% base increase to go to smaller firm - bit fed up with current projects but have great network but idk if this I even what I want to be doing long term. Hard to ignore the comp increase. Thoughts? Should I try to get my current comp matched?

Realizing that I'd like to explore accounting advisory though (either FAAS at EY or something at another B4 or other smaller firm (e.g., CBIZ?)). Any recommendations on timing of exploring this internally (should I float something up and investigate at EY this spring? will it take a full year to transfer if accepted? Am I kind of screwed by being a senior 3 and should've done this earlier?)

CD salary with 7 years as CD (13ish years total in the biz) at a large agency moving to another large agency? In New York. Feel like I have been underpaid and don’t want to get stuck again.

I think being in US dominated chats makes it difficult for us to gage consultant compensation outside of US. I know the TC amounts to a lot less compared to US due to job market & better state welfare, but if you are MBB~Big 4 consultant in London, is it possible to have an upper-middle class life (let’s say ~3 kids, spouse doing ~50k job, detached house in Home Counties, HMC private schools, nice holiday once every few years, Rover and a mini)?
