So about that Google lawsuit...
Anyone been to lisbon Portugal lately?
Anyone want to run Bain-style cases with me?
It's my first time doing it.

At the boutique consulting firm I used to work at, that'd be fine. Any idea how they dress? My standard is typically however they dress + 1.. so if they are business casual, you wear a jacket. If they wear jackets, you wear a tie. If they wear a tie, you wear a top hat and cane :)
This may be a sign that you aren’t motivated enough to work there. If it was your dream job, you wouldn’t mind wearing a tie
Always go with the safe option
Depends on your personal style and the image you want to convey, but I don’t think I’d ever go to an interview without a tie, especially for a senior exec position—unless the company culture screams that it would be inappropriate (T-shirt wearing startup, for example).
For a client service interview you’re showing how well you can show for clients. Dress like you would for an important client presentation.
If they have an issue with it maybe you don’t want to work there anyways
I’d dress up. It’s always better to be overdressed than underdressed. Once you’re hired you can adjust your style to the company’s dress code
Not sure how they dress at work but presuming it's at least business casual.
I have rarely worn a tie even when presenting to senior executives at clients and don't like wearing one so wanted to see if I could get away with it.
Thanks all.
@C1, I think you are right. I don't know enough about them yet to treat this like a dream job. Hopefully, I'll find out more at the onsite.
Thanks again for all the feedback.
What's the city? If NYC tie would be appropriate
Nothing to lose by wearing a tie
Not NYC. Another tier 1 city. Tie it is!
