I got a call from the Google recruiter about my L7 em interview Google She said I did overwhelmingly good on all interviews except one had mixed feedback on a system design. No surprise because it was not a good interview. The recruiter said i had a choice to go to hiring committee, give referrals they could call about my system design or take another system design interview. I’m not confident about the system design because of the bad experience I had with the previous interviewer. What should I do?

Go where accepted, do well and transfer. Don't get down about it!
Same here- rejected from my dream school earlier this week. It's rough.
Are you waiting for any other decisions? Or are you thinking about reapplying next cycle?
Waiting to hear from other schools. I was planning on deferring because of work so I will apply again. It’s just such a blow to confidence
I know what you mean. Good luck with everything.
Thank you and good luck!
Many people were miserable at their dream school, and many people were happy and successful at their backups. Because it is such a huge life change and direction setting decision, it seems all encompassing, but in reality the outcomes of your life post-law school are nearly limitless. There are a few exceptions (want to be a law prof? Yale might be required!), but in general, with law school a few years behind you, your choices, work ethic, interests, connections, etc will be more defining that law school. So don't get too down if you don't get into the school you think you want to be in right now. It might be for the best. And yes, you can transfer if 1L goes well, but you might find you have different priorities after a year of school.
