Hey, I have 4 YOE and currently a manager at PwC and have been managing teams for a little over a year now. My role mainly consists of leading teams of engineers deliver MVPs to our clients.
If I wanted to exit to Google or Facebook (Meta) what role would align for me? I was looking at engineering manager roles but unsure if that’s too senior for me.
Anyone hiring junior ADs or teams?

I wouldnt sweat it. Those requirements are really just guidelines.
The job I have now "requires" six years of experience and I have three. Don't worry about it. While they may end up going with someone who has more experience (it definitely happens and has happened to me more than once), you have to go in confident.
Requirements are 🧢. So many recent graduates nowadays becoming mid/senior super quickly. Get it!
Don’t get phased by details like that, if they’re interviewing you, they think your work has potential. Good luck!

I generally ignore those. An AD I know graduated portfolio school and went right into a senior role (he has a great book though).
If you have a strong book I think it cancels out those sort of requirements
lol

Be confident + shoot your best shot. Half the battle is getting the interview. They already like you, this is your time to remind them why they can’t live without you. Good luck, OP!
*Job postings are mostly for legality purposes etc, just sayin’
You’ll be fine I go by if your resume was picked. Also depends on the agency some agencies two years can be another persons year as far as workload. I would focus on that so it feels like two years. It’s only part of the job the rest is team chemistry. Be prepared to speak about why you’re leaving already.
