Feeling lost and looking for career advice. After several years in consulting, I lost interest in it seeing that the only way upward is to start selling work. I hate sales (and finance, so no PE/banks for me). Where can I exit that pays well, has a solid upward ($$$) potential without having to deal with sales? Google and Facebook are where my coworkers are leaving to coast. I don’t want to coast, I want to make money.

Hi all, I moved into a role in marketing about 9 months ago and they let me know they were starting me off at $42k CAD because I was entering with no marketing background. Now that I've had time to learn more and show my abilities I wanted to get a feel for what Junior marketers make so I can ask for proper compensation when the time comes.

Cleared first round and my on-site is next week. It just came to my notice something about visa sponsorship in JD. It states “This role is not eligible for immigration sponsorship.” I have H1B but I would need H1b transfer and GC sponsorship. Can anyone help me out here.

Received a job offer. Was wondering if anyone had any thoughts on a concern I had about it. It's an entry level position, and I don't have much experience. The billables are 2040 a year. For billable hours in civil litigation and insurance defense, is 2040 hours for a 1st year associate on the high end in this field for a small or midsize firm? It seems like most attorneys I know have minimum requirements of around 1800. The compensation is around 80k a year.

What’s the common process for when a client offering you a job at the end of the project? Do you still have to go through interviews and stuffs like a normal application or the client would just send you an offer?
