I’m a 7th year associate. I’ve practiced L&E my entire career in big law for large multi-national companies. I like my job, but I’m burned out. I have 4.3 YOE currently and I was offered Engr II - Full Stack position in VDSI. But after doing some research it seems Engr II is usually for YOE between 2 and 4. Is this correct? Will there be a problem for me if I take up this position with my YOE?
Since I am a lateral entry, I think promotion to Engr III also would take a lot of time.
