Any advice for negotiation? I made the mistake of letting slip my current salary to the recruiter and now I’m in final rounds at FB and the recruiter disclosed the salary for the position. It seems to be quite below industry average based on Glassdoor and other sources, but I know once given the salary it’s hard to negotiate at FB. I recently got a title change at my current company, and possible salary increase, so I was thinking of using that to counter. Never negotiated before!
Hey would anyone from Oliver Wyman be willing to refer or chat an intern role? I'm from a non target Canadian school and am applying to the Canadian office, but I have always been interested in OW since I started my undergrad, I would very much appreciate your kindness!
Can someone provide referral in Accenture?

I am struggling with the fact that I have 13 years of HR experience in one capacity or another, along with a bachelors degree and my PHR designation yet companies say “I’m not qualified or they ghost me when I apply for HR openings. I am experienced in all aspects of HR. How are people with little to no experience coming right out of college obtaining higher level roles than I have currently? It makes my passion for the field just go away.
Hiring @Trianz for mentioned positions. Please message me with the Role name and I will share the detailed job description. Thank you.

Literally, is ANYONE hiring a Sr Producer in Chicago right now? Feels like we’re in a royal family where the monarch has to die before the line to the throne moves up an inch
Starting a new job Monday and I’ll be working from the office. I graduated in 2020 and never ended up working from the office at my last my job, so I’m unfamiliar with how to dress. This is a F500 role. Is slacks and a blouse enough? Tia!
I've been working for a regional public accounting firm since last Summer. It's a small office and I don't really fit in. The accounting software(s) is also ancient and slow here(circa 2003). I quickly applied for a position at a Big 4 and surprisingly was quickly offered a job. The training here has been haphazard and even managers barely know how to use the software. My main concern is the awkwardness from leaving after such a short time but the commute is an hour shorter to the big 4 firm.
What was the Parthenon Group like before the EY acquisition? How was it perceived compared to MBB, Big 4, etc. in terms of prestige, exit opps, etc.?
What are the exit opportunities for directors and SMs that have been working on Salesforce projects?

Hi I am just trying to understand the job market. While everywhere around me in newspapers/online unemployment is being talked about, but when I see companies such as say Deloitte/other MNCs, there is a lot of hiring going on. So many people are leaving for better jobs. Then why unemployment? Is it in different space-retail and tier 2/3 jobs that being hit?
Coming from McKinsey, Google health insurance seems a little worse. What other benefits exist that you all actually enjoy the most? I hear people talk a lot about Google benefits, but maybe the onboarding doesn’t do as good a job of showing that ? Side note-yet to join but excited!
Does anyone use a money system to help with classroom management? What do you think about it?
Do you guys charge the same rate for client side freelance? E.g. if New Balance wanted you to help with a new sub-brand visual ID.

Trying to solve client requirements like:
Had the weirdest call with someone from an offshore team… are offshore folks allowed to work for two Big 4 companies at the same time?
Is “expecting an offer” really a thing? I’ve never been told an offer is coming before the actual offer has come. And great interview performance and positive feedback are not indicators of actually getting an offer in my experience.
Is a technical interview the same as a screening interview, EY folks can you please chip in.
I have a client who only wants to use MS Teams to communicate to us. It is a nightmare for many reasons but not sure how to stop this.

For all the dads out there: how are you not ashamed to be the father this career forces you to be? It's a daily struggle for me and I do not think it is worth it.
