Anyone know anything about LDWW?
Hello Mastercard employees. I have been trying to break into MC for long now.
I have 2 yrs workex post MBA. I have experience in data analysis and consulting. But I don't want to get into consulting anymore. I am looking for analytics roles. Anyone here would be able to DM and guide me on the available options at Mastercard?

You make 330k at PwC as Director?
330k is not high for directors. My base more then 330k plus bonus and with tier 1 rating it gets close to 90 -100k of bonus. My best year was 445k base plus bonus.
On thing to consider is the status of the smaller firm and the trend of PE deals and mergers among the smaller firms. Not sure which firm you are thinking about for the move but I would want to try to understand that aspect before I made the jump. You could potentially go back to being salaried and the equity sharing upside is gone.
especially one owner firm type, who clearly got his head in his ass not knowing that he’s not supposed to tell the client to pay more tax on PTEP distribution 😂😂
I’d go!
Most small firm partners make better 300-500, whereas you make 1m at big 4. Better find out fast if you’re being sponsored for partnership at big 4 or not.
If pipeline is backed up like you said, I'd leave.
What’s the ramp up period and potential income growth?
But will you share in any growth for the overall firm and your specific book. Play out the worst case scenario (growth and your book don’t happen), best case (you build a book) and something in between that becomes projections.
You want to understand how profits are shared between partners, clear expectations on what’s expected of you in year 1,3, and 5, and if you’ll receive the support in achieving goals.
When do you make partner at current firm
Yeah I’d talk to your closest partner mentor and if that can’t be changed, then jump
Cool opportunity!
Will certainly be different. I know each firm is different but be prepared to lead in a more sales-generation type role at a smaller firm.
I did something similar and it worked great for me. Cash comp went so much higher within 2 years. My personality style is a relationship builder so bringing work to the firm is very natural. Others have struggled coming from an environment where they were technically excellent, but relied mainly on brand name and the firm to bring the work to them.
Best of luck!
The firm is looking to expand their clientele in a certain industry, which is my area. I would need to buildup the book of business. They currently have a few clients, which I will take on. Alot of risks in building this up, but worth it? Growth could be good...
When you say smaller firm - how much smaller? top 10 or smaller?
Your numbers for first year partner are very low.
OP said its a small firm, so dont expect much
