Fighting Salary Compression

I have 15+ years vesting in current company/ position, 25 years over all. I love my job!
But for the past 3 years I’m told that my yearly annual increases will be decreased due to reaching a salary ceiling. 2% rate increases barely kept pace with rate of living, especially after this years 8-12% inflation increase. Also, new employees are now being hired at a higher rate.

Anyone else experience this issue? How and what is the best course of action to address?

I applied to an experienced consultant position at Bain and just heard back. Yesterday, I received an invite to a HireVue one-way interview to complete. Today, I received an invite for a coffee chat with a consultant. I’m of course going to do both, but the emails make it seem like they are almost two separate paths/disconnected processes. Can anybody offer some insight into each of these/the process?

Did a first interview with hr rep, went very well. she set up the hiring manager meeting for a few days later. Met with the manager. Another great conversation, went over time and was told I’d hear back about panel set up. Following day I get a request from hr rep to “continue the conversation” with manager. This is set up Tuesday.
Why do you think the manager wants to meet again? Good? Bad? I felt great about the interview when we ended.

Does anyone know what the comp range is for a manager? Considering applying or talking to a recruiter.

Has anyone ever asked to renegotiate their salary after starting a job? I’m 2 months into my new job and I have far more responsibilities than what I was told. It’s a lot different than what was relayed in the posting and during the interviews. Additionally, they hired my counter part in as a senior manager which is at least $30k more than what I make. My peer has more experience so I expect that but I feel that I should be paid more, however I don’t want to leave a bad impression… any advice?
