First time home buyer seeking guidance:

We are a family of three, have a yearly income of 200K and are looking to buy our first home. We can’t decide if we should go for a 3 or 4 bedroom homes.

4 bed comes with 2500 sqft and 60K more. We can afford to buy a 4 bedroom but couldn’t decide if the additional bedroom($500 more in emi ) will be of any use as we may get guests/family only for a max period of 4 weeks in a year.

what can be an ideal if I want to rent or sale this home in 5 years?

Best company to refinance student loans? Currently at 4% interest rate.

How much should I invest in buying a HOME as my primary residence.

Do you pay your credit cards in full every month?

I ask because I’ve let my credit spending get a bit lax since moving and adopting a puppy recently, so I haven’t been paying them off in full every month like I used to (though still well above the minimum payment, and keeping utilization at 30% or under). Who is still in denial about a housing correction? The Fed just made another .75% increase. Powell said they won’t stop until inflation is 2%. He also said a recession would be better than the consequences of unchecked inflation. He announced he will bring rates to a “restrictive level” until “the job is done”. He said that labor demand needs to soften (ie: layoffs). He very explicitly said he wants to slash demand and that housing needs a “correction”.
