I think I usually get rid of wearing layering of any sort by late May. It could vary depending on individual thresholds.

Memorial day weekend last year was freezing tho

Soon! April can still be chilly but hopefully we’ll start having some warm weather sprinkled in. If you mean ‘consistently warm’ then more like late May.

like

Lol welcome! The weather will vary.

Usually by mid to late May would be the best bet until August. April will be most likely showers and muggy days.

🍂🍃 Labor day/first day of school in September is usually when it starts to get cooler for Autumn.

Not that you asked, but a tip on future future weather:
🌬️ if you plan to do anything for Halloween in New York, please know that it is usually always cold and windy that night. Do what you will with that info lol then the weather will fluctuate with windiness/chilliness/sunny says until official winter comes.

This isn’t an immediate help, but when I moved back to the Northeast from Los Angeles, I felt extra cold for a few years. Over time I adjusted and weather in the 50s doesn’t usually feel freezing anymore.

like

Nights don’t get warm until late May. Sorry 😕

I feel the same, and I moved from the mountains!

June. Probably

June for consistent and reliable warm weather during the day and night, every day. Mid to late may is hit or miss…some years it’s really warm and others (like last year) it’s cold af.

You’ll still get the occasional 70s day in April/May, it’s just that the next day it can go back down to 50s/60.

Go back to SD — the weather is horrible

I have been working in SEA region last 4 years. I feel burned out. I have 10yoe, I have try to move to other country but I pretty much suck in LeetCode. I want to take some time off to unwind, finish some personal business, and really prepare for interviews. I would like to hear from you. Should I quit to my current manager(5th so far) or wait after mid year performance review, when a new boss will take over my team? I'm thinking on giving them 2 months notice period. By contract is 1.

Thanks

Pros:

- fairly decent place to work (from someone who worked with the Vancouver and San Jose offices). never met a blue badger (permanent employee) who had awful things to say.

- Ashley Goodall (their SVP, Methods & Intelligence) co-authored a brilliant book on leadership and people management called “Nine Lies About Work” that makes me believe they can be an awesome place to work

Cons:

- red badgers had low morale since they’re contract workers and can be terminated at any time

I have 4 YOE in a 3PL company as a Senior Sales Executive in the warehousing and local transportation business verticals, achieving a humble S$1.5 million ARR in outbound sales, contract retainer up to 5 years. Just trying my luck here to see if there’s anyone who’s able to refer me to a reputable logistics firm. I am willing to explore other business verticals such as air/sea freight as well. Any insights about TC are welcomed

Tried this Santorini retailing for $40. Very concentrated but can’t say I was blown away by it. Volcanic terroir dominates almost to the point of obscurity, and it had strong lemon notes, hints of quince, and sea salt. It clashed with Mexican food (hey I knew that beforehand but didn’t think it would clash THAT bad, and usually pair Mexican with Riesling or Gewürztraminer) but I’m going to Greece soon and wanted to drink Greek wine. I drank half at a BYOB, took the bottle home(cont’d)

Had an associate of mine recently confront me and say he has a crush on me. Told him nope and that would be very unprofessional. He has reassured me that this won’t impact our working dynamic but lately there’s been a lot of pushback on any direction given to him or the team. I’m growing concerned he is holding something against me.

How should I approach this?
