Don’t sit near the engine
Definitely get one of their credit cards and time the bonus so that you get it in 2019. Then work towards companion pass... nearly two years of free travel for your +1 of choice!
Also, be aware of their boarding policy. Need to either check in 24 hours in advance or pay $15 to guarantee early boarding. (No assigned seats.) As a result, need to be at gate no later than 30 minutes before departure or you could end up in a middle seat.
If on a short flight sit in Row 9. First to get coffee.
A1 covered it, but I'll add that they're super flexible. If I ever had a change of schedule I can just call them up and they'll move me to an earlier or later flight with no issues or fees.
A couple of other things - if you also start using them for personal travel, they’re good about giving you the lower fare if you ever find it after booked, so check when you get the new sale emails. A list / a list preferred get auto check-in before 24 hours, so no need to check in exactly on time. Plus, if you miss your initial boarding with a-list, you can board during family boarding (great for those last minute flight changes where you have C-is-for-center-60, and then get a spot for your bag and an aisle seat.
They have status match to A-list or A-list preferred.
Companion pass is pretty useless for most of us as consultants though, given that we can just flex travel. Your +1 has to be travelling on the same flight as you and if you're flex travelling that rarely works out
