Can I participate in commercials/ads while working for a Big4? I have been casted for an upcoming modeling job and I will be (finally) leaving Deloitte in month. I'm wondering if is there anything in Deloitte policy that doesn't allow me to do this and if I should just reject the casting gig until I officially exit (this is my first time getting casted so I didn't want to reject it)

Hi all, I am currently working at RB but I am interested in exiting to a tech strategy/product role after a few years. I was recently contacted by a recruiter at Publicis Sapient, and they do a lot of digital consulting. Which would position me better for FAANG in the future? RB but virtually no digital consulting, or a digital consulting house like Publicis Sapient? TIA

My spouse is on H4-EAD & her employer sponsor 100% of her medical insurance. Should I reach back to the recruiter on decision after I started new job? Would that be a red flag or they see i really like their company? I would join that company if everything's equal but had to start on current role since the other company was dragging feet a but on getting resources for the role. They might still be waiting for approvals for the role...should I just wait for them or keep talking? Last time HR did say to check back later.
I recently received a raise, that was given across the agency and non-performance based. I believe I’m under paid significantly based on actual performance and my role and contribution to the team. Any advice on how to ask for a raise, or if I should at all?

Anyone have perspective on how MBB (specifically Bain) benefits are better than big 4? I heard Bain contributes 4.5% of salary to your 401k regardless of any employee contributions, which is great. Any other big perks that make their benefits package superior to others (eg. Big 4)?
Deloitte question. I have always gotten a raise each year, the only question I ask is how much of a raise do I get. But I’m hearing from former Deloitte folks, it is naive to expect annual raises each year however small/big they are? And how does this play in Deloitte consulting vs advisory? Do one tend to withhold annual raises in base salary over the other, or is this just a deloitte culture thing? Looking at exit opportunities all over. So lmk! I’d Rather get a small raise than none at all.
I went back to my old job when I lost my job. This was probably more an emotional decision. My old manager and team welcomed me back with open arms. I’ve only been back for a couple of weeks but I’ve realized that I want to pivot into analytics and my current role has limitations in this area. Am I horrible for wanting to leave even though they asked me that I was planning to stick around for more than a few months. Any advice appreciated!
Should you leave a somewhat stable (not so much with Covid and layoff talks) job for an ~8% pay increase at another agency rightnow? Who knows what the other place could be as well.
Are there women here that have a significantly larger income than their male partner/ spouse? My husband used to make a little more money 10 years ago when we first met (when we were both making under 60k). Then I started climbing a fast track career ladder and now make a total comp of close to 300k and he is still under 80k... (which is totally fine with me btw). But I have noticed that this has caused a lot of serious issues for our relationship. any advice?
Ladies how do you manage your relationship when your spouse holds you to what you promised you would do before you got married but then you realize you can’t do it. I had promised my husband I would fast with him for an entire day on a specific religious holiday, but when I did for the first time I had stomach pains, headache, and nausea. I told him I can’t do it for that long again but he said “we’ll see, you just need to push through”.

Anyone have managers / leadership (non consulting) who seems disengaged? We all hate micro managers, but on the other side of the spectrum my manager signs on at 10am, doesn’t respond to requests for input, takes a ton of PTO yet still is angry that my project is on fire and gives me tons of extra work, it makes me feel very demotivated - why should I kill myself and work hard if they don’t give a shit, just makes me feel dumb for putting in effort.
Any Accenture 🐠 use the domestic partnership benefits for their partner? Apparently you don't have to be married to use it so I want to get my partner benefits but the process is confusing. Anyone...
So I love my fiance with all my heart. He's the most patient, caring, loving man. Our wedding is planned for some time end of next year. But he just got recently laid off and doubts started to creep in again. He has always worked, but always in a dead end kind of job. And this job was his first "professional" job and now that's out the window. While I trust in his potential, he's not dumb or anything. He's a bit slow (not very aggressive, quiet). I just keep climbing up the ladder so the gap is

Do any other firms have a policy that requires you to return to work for a certain period after paid parental leave, and if you choose to leave you are required to pay it back? If so, is there anyone who decided to leave before the end of that period? What happens if you can’t afford to pay it back?
