Folks who switched to UI/UX from industrial design or fashion design or graphic design, how are you preparing yourself to get better in the field? Though I’m from Industrial Design background, I find UX to be boring and hate to spend a lot of my time in front of the screen. Designing apps or websites doesn’t interest me but I want to learn these things and get better at it keeping in the mind that this is a well paying field and the number of opportunities are tremendous. currently tossing up between staying at a global company (who is in the process of some positive changes) with an amazing manager who supports my career and flexible working … however comes with the inherit issues that come with a long standing global company

compared with a role at a smaller mga, higher salary (around 30%) more , more visibility career wise and some great employee benefits , management seem to be supportive and low staff turnover

Left consulting for a corporate job and it's much more challenging and technical. I like it so far and feel I am growing tons, but tbh sometimes it makes me feel I am dumb and realize how much "easier" consulting was as BSing could really work back there 😂…

I’m currently in civil litigation but I’ve always loved the criminal defense law world. Does it make sense to go to a PD office to get trial experience to get my foot back in the criminal door?

SAP program management background, certified in MM module but it’s been years. Is it worth to stay in SAP or I should just pursue PGM position in industry, SAP or not?

Any advice on a first year trying to transition from family law to in-house? I always thought family law was my path, and used to enjoy it, but it’s not the direction I want to head in anymore.
