For EY folks based in Chicago who recently left the firm in 2021, were you able to confirm the actual vacation dollar payout prior to departure or just the hour balance? Payroll is not confirming the actual dollar payout and refusing to provide a proper explanation. I have escalated this at all levels and nobody can help. I have done the math on my end but it would give me comfort if the actual payout is also confirmed. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks.

Misled on Maternity Leave Policy. I found out I only get 4 weeks pay for maternity leave (STD +“sick days”). I will take 12 weeks but wont get paid for 8 weeks. I work for a US, west coast based company in the tech/VC industry. Their website claims to offer “paid parental leave and other progressive benefits for parents”. I didn’t find out until after I was hired their pay was only 8 weeks but since I have been at the company less than 12 months, I don’t qualify for their policy. Is this unfair?

How does the pre-tax parking benefit work at kpmg? There isn't much detail on ssc or benefits connection but it seems like it is on the honor system vs a separate account like FSA?
