When does wfh end in EY GDS?
I've been interviewing with some companies, and now I have to decide between JPMorgan Chase and Globant.
Globant is more innovative, and has remote work. I will enter to work with a Sillicon Valley startup based in San Francisco. The tech stack is React, Nextjs, AWS, and a serverless architecture.
JPM is semi remote, and less innovative. The tech stack Java, SpringBoot and AWS. But I'd do more migration tasks, like dockerize projects and pass them to kubernetes. What would you choose?
HIRING! My company is currently seeking a Solution Architect that is highly experienced in designing scalable Salesforce solutions.
Bonus points if you have experience with nonprofit organizations and/or education institutions.
This a full-time position for a fully-remote company!

There's no shortage of human interaction with a wife and three kids. Between them and visits from my parents and in laws, the house is always busy. For actual socializing I'll meet up with friends when I've got the time and energy for it, but those days are few and far between right now.
Judging from the reactions to this comment, there are so many of us. I also have 3 kids, wife, and little time for any social pursuits aside from Golf. But I don’t feel like I’m missing out, just choosing a different lifestyle at this time and prioritizing my Dad/Husband self.
I’m an introvert. Work in office drains me. WFH is my happy place. I am a party of one and just fine with that.
It’s harder in today’s environment to socialize at work. Better to socialize with family and friends!
I work remotely during the day and drive Uber and Lyft to get out and talk to people just so I don't go crazy.
Home lol
The dog park 😂😂😂😂😂
Pub trivia. Friend’s homes. Community events.
I VPN into a slack channel with my virtual background and my digital Avatar… you know… just to be sure. Can’t risk my RSUs.
I go to a CrossFit gym 4-5 times a week and train in group classes. I’ve made friends for life too!
I have a dog. A cute one. So many people stop me on the street to have a chat.
After being on the phone all day I just hang with the dogs.
Bike rides and beer gardens.
Find your tribe
I’m a single woman. I play Multiplayer video games…hang with same good friends from high school and a couple from college. Hang with the occasional coworkers at group outings..plan family reunions / quarterly or bi-yearly hangouts with cousins.
I try to make friends with similar hobbies and hang out with those people!
I work in an office but that hasn't prevented me from getting my social interaction down to approximately zero.
There are plenty of small businesses near home. If not with my wife, mostly my contact with human beings is resumed to small interactions with the clerks.
Usually hang out with my family. but we also have a game night once a month with some of our friends.
usually outside
I wonder how would u trust them without seeing the company? My point is, you have to share your bank account, social and every other corresponding stuff with them in order to receive the check. Now how would u trust them if they are scam or not after the interview is done and job is confirmed?
Vacation
My favorite spot is to be home with my wife and kids. Visiting with friends and family and taking care of our little homestead keeps us hopping. But we go to educational conferences in our field, and take advantage of being able to travel with our kids during the summer as well. So I'm perfectly content with my remote job.
