My current title is Buyer. I handle the purchasing of the larger categories of direct materials and train any new Buyers. I also manage outsourcing and quoting of raw materials for new business, among other things.

I am looking at taking over capacity planning for manufacturing, while keeping my previous responsibility.

What could I suggest for a new title/promotion? There isn't an existing position that I would be filling, and I want to show career growth on my resume.

I’m planning on not returning back to my job after my baby is born. I have no paid maternity leave outside of short term disability (60% pay for 6 weeks, an elective benefit that I pay for exclusively) and will use my sick time / vacation time while out, too. So, what’s the etiquette for when to put in notice while on leave? Any ideas?

Contract is ending shortly and I’ve been looking for work however I’ve been applying for jobs that I'm totally qualified for; I get to the second stage and that's as far as I make it. Some have told me they think it's my salary requirements but I'm using the same exact salary range they post with the job. Has anyone ran into this?!?
