For Operations manager roles in DC’s, is every Operations Manager an L5? Or can you be a level L6 operations manager as well? Currently interviewing, have 9 years experience and wondering if it’s possible to come in at an L6 level as opposed to an L5.

Hey y’all. I went through an exceptionally traumatizing experience a few years ago that has totally & utterly shattered my confidence, self worth, self esteem etc. I have a hard time portraying my work experience + deserving of a new role.

The recruiter asked me if I'm interested in- Analyst/ Associate/ Risk Manager roles at Commercial bank (related to real estate or credit). Those roles require 1-3 YOE, but not Master's or CPA. Does anyone know if above positions are as competitive as SBA?

I have gotten a verbal offer from Facebook, but I just had my phone screen interview with the hiring manager at Amazon yesterday. I want to reach out to the recruiter at Amazon and let them know what the timeline looks like. I would much rather have the Amazon job over the Facebook one. But I’m afraid if I decline Facebook then Amazon won’t happen. I’m just completely lost.

Went through multi-day loop for L5 SA and felt confident in my interactions. Presentation went well with no lack of answers for follow up questions. Just found out 6 days later I will not be receiving an offer, and it is policy to not provide feedback of gaps or reasons behind no offer. Also found out they ask you not to reapply for 1 to 2 years for same role. Would anyone recommend an alternate path for feedback on interview (outside of recruiter) and is the 1-2 year policy true?

Finished my loop for a marketing role 2 weeks ago, and got an email the next day that they wanted to give me an offer. Had my initial call with recruiter to put the offer together. It was lower than I expected, and we ended that call positively as I needed some time to consider, and we agreed to follow up in a few days. It’s now been a week and both recruiters have been unresponsive. Did I just lose this offer bc I tried to negotiate a more equitable comp pack, or is it a slow process?
