I’m 26 weeks pregnant and trying to figure out my leave. I live in NJ and work at PwC, any fishes know the policy for NJ and PwC? The leave center has not been much help and I want to plan NOW not like 60 days before. I was told NJ gets two weeks before due date and PwC gives you two weeks as well.

I literally put time to pump above all else. I’ve left conferences, client workshops, etc. in order to pump. I’ve pumped in my car while driving, on a plane, wherever.
1) tried to avoid this situation happening often; if not then
2) nipple pads plus wearing more "forgiving" clothes / bringing a light jacket, etc
I have pumped in a plane seat next to strangers lol. When it needs to be done it needs to be done!
Or you could get one of those collection cups that fit in your bra as a passive type of pump
I’d sometimes bring a portable pump (a hand pump at the time, but these newer wearable pumps are great). I avoided certain plans because I either wouldn’t be able to pump or wouldn’t be able to bring my son and nurse. With these newer wearable ones that you can wear under your clothing I feel like this issue would be resolved. I have one this time around but am still in T1.
I exclusively pumped after 3 months with my first (and pumped for 14 months total) and 1 month with my second… I bring my pump wherever I’m going if I’m going to be longer and I figure it out. I’ve also pumped at conferences, family parties, driving to brunches, etc. Also, sometimes I will leak a little - getting a thicker nursing bra or nursing pads will help with that a little bit.
I am constantly thinking about when I’m going to pump when traveling/at work and scheduling around it. I have a travel pump too but that still takes some planning on when to put it on and take it off and collect the milk.
Combo of having hand pumps and portable pumps and when needed I would hand express as well.
It’s definitely a commitment - one I found to be worth it but do what works best for you!
I bring my momcozy M5s and wear them while driving. I have even taken a long bathroom break and used them for 10 minutes and it’s enough to relieve the fullness.
