Hi all,
I joined KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.
I am unable to figure out what can be done now.
Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)
(sap domain)
How's the resource management here?
(do they lagOff?)
Any inputs will be helpful.
Thanks!

So I was working with Infosys and got into Accenture Strategy- Capability Network.
I just updated my Naukri profile ( you can get referrals too) .
I already had worked as a product analyst and a scrum master for two separate projects (total YOE: 3.5) . My interview questions were mainly about the fundamentals of the work I had done.
I feel core strategy and digital transformation projects are getting more intertwined these days so in my mind, I have stopped bifurcating b/w 'I.T. consulting' and 'management consulting' since I.T. is everywhere.
These are my two cents. The more reasons you give yourself that you can easily crack these organizations, the better your chances will get.
Not sure how helpful my answer is but thought of sharing! Good luck 🌼
So I am very new to this. Capability Network is a vertical under Accenture Strategy. My unit is PPE (Product and Platform Engineering) and my work entails enabling agile transformation as a PO/BA/SM. Honestly, I am joining because of the brand name, an impeccable hike (they pay really well), preferred location and I want to dive deeper into product management. I have seen many other technofunctional consultants also joining Capability Network. And I am joining into mgt consulting. Hope this helps!
For me, the fundamental skillset would be the art of storytelling and how you structure your deliverables. Also, some serious PPT and Excel skills would be required.
I also think so now. I interviewed few freshers yesterday for their campus drive. I couldn't understand half of the things they put on CV. So, my approach was to select those who are able to i) represent, communicate or convince.
ii) able to relate their curriculum knowledge with business problems iii) Do justice to the brainstorming questions, just basic thinking and application ( not looking for something out of box). iii was the least preferred criteria for me to select or reject.
