B4 culture - love the people at PwC. Everyone is very nice and really enjoy hanging out with them in and out of the office.
MBB - to be honest, we more often than not win cross offers over other “T2” like LEK, OW, Parthenon. Rarely beat MBB - though we’ve had success bringing over many MBB (mainly BCG) partners.

Comp isn’t half by any measure for S&. And knowing this firm, they have no problem shelling out / even paying a high premium for good talent.
What’s the pitch to move? At that level everyone has their own unique reasons. One I’ve heard from said S& was willing to give them more independence and capital / resources to build out their own practice.
And of course, we’ve lost plenty of partners so by no means are we perfect.
I loved EY-P for it's more boutique culture compared to not only MBB, but other Big 4 firms. It was a no brainer when compared particularly to Accenture/other big 4 consulting divisions. Smaller size of firm, less travel, and smaller office fosters stronger bonds between coworkers. This may change after greater integration with EY over time
