Yesterday was 1 year for me. I’ve had interviews, but no offers.
4 months for me. 20+ interviews and I finally just got an offer!
Too me 18 months m, hubby is at 18 month. Rough with both of us at the same time . Tech world!!!!
For 6 months. Can’t tell you how draining this is.
Over a year unfortunately. I'm to the point I might hire someone to professionally go over my resume and apply for me because it's exhausting. I never thought it'd be this hard to find some decent work
Try a temp agency!!!
7 mos. - Longest it’s ever taken for me to find a great position. Market has never been this hard for me. Finally start a new position Monday.
I've been looking for about four months. But I have a job now, so I'm not desperate to find something. My searching hasn't been intense, but I'm getting to the point, now that's summer's over and gone, where I'd like to get serious and find something and move on. To be honest, nothing has been too promising, but I'm hopeful that things will be picking up by the end of the year.
I've been looking off and on for the past three months. I have a job I don't mind now, but I've been here for four years at this point and am starting to get restless. I've gotten four interviews and received one offer that I turned down because the base was 10% lower than my current.
A year
I was looking for 8.5 months before landing my current one
4 1/2 months
5 months and counting
Been looking for almost a year. Get occasional interviews but no offers. Since I am older the interviewers seem more interested in my age rather than my ability to do the job.
That's my concern too. I only include the last 15-yrs of my career in my resume.
Since mid January...and I thought, "well at least is the beginning of the new year, so I will have a new job soon" Ha! Joke's on me! 😒 I have applied to numerous jobs (even entry level) and only gotten a handful of interviews and PLENTY of rejection emails. It's so draining and frustrating. To top it all off, Unemployment benefits were exhausted in July...so to say it's been rough, it's an understatement 😔
Job Market is awful! Good luck!
I was out of work from May 2023 until September 2024 (except for DoorDash and a couple of false starts) I finally found a job I like but I'm over qualified for and the pay is under $40,000.00/YR.
BUT I have been getting more calls from recruiters since I've had this job. So sometimes it takes having a job to get a job. Maybe take anything and go from there. Good luck 🤞🏻🙏🏻
