Just got a job at Deloitte M&A in Atlanta and am currently looking to buy a house. Would you advise I buy closer to Atlanta or the suburbs? I personally want to be in the suburbs but I hear the traffic situation is quite bad. Current consultants in Atlanta, how much time do you actually spend in the office vs remote vs client site? Would you advise I try and stay closer to the office?

Setup drills like this and you will be hitting fairways in no time.
Pro
Take lessons. Repeating the same s****y swing habits just trains your body to memorize s****y swing habits.
Pro
Lessons are necessary to get over certain humps.
the winter is a good time to get in the simulator with a pro and work on the swing. learn how to swing in the winter, learn to play the game in the summer.
Lessons are 100% worth it
Took me a full season of lessons/range/playing several times a week to be decent (breaking 100)
Agree on the lessons to get rid of major swing flaws.
But I would also recommend that once you are consistently getting the ball moving forward in the air, playing might be more important that practice. The range can be a trap as hitting your 7 iron/ sand wedge 20 times in a row is not real golf. The course is the best place to improve your tricky/awkward short shots, non-flat lies, etc. stuff that definitely can impact your game but you won’t see it on the range.
What’s decent to you
You need someone to show you what to do… lessons are mandatory to get started
Lessons are sooooooo with it.... But ONLY if you're going to put in time to practice the drills and accept that it will take time to get better. Otherwise, it's a waste of time and money.
