Hi all,
I have a offer from Perficient and joining in 2 months time. Question :
1: how is the company in terms of job security and projects? I work with web analytics
2: How is the hike and work life balance.
3: Attrition rate
4: Hike is good but will it be a safer vet like Accenture Operations?
Need some views from people working there.
Thanks in advance.

Is a 529 account worth it for MBA?
Newbie to investing and never invested in a company that went through a reverse stock split.
In theory, I understand the market value should increase but I’m not seeing this reflected in the price and naturally my book value/ share is very disappointing.
A) When should I anticipate the stock appreciation to occur?
B) What’s the next move for companies that do this? Issue more shares?
TIA!

Can you and you husband stagger? You do the morning handoff so he can log in at 7am, you log in at 8am. Then he stops work at 4 and helps with evening transition so you can finish work and log off at 5pm (or obviously you can switch roles depending on preference or specific schedules that day).
Oh god I wish. Unfortunately he is in medicine and has zero flexibility
40 hours a week and we schedule work around those hours.
Ours asked for 30 (35 max) because she had another job. We would have paid for more.
When our kids got older and we suggested flipping to afternoons/evenings/weekends, she left.
A person (real person with a life) will never be able to cover what daycare can (55 hours a week).

Ours works 45-50 during the week, also watches the kids for date nights and sometimes on the weekend if needed. Normal
We have ours for 42.5 hours a week. 9 - 5:30. If I don’t have meetings, then I stop working at 5 to make dinner. So I’m essentially only working 8 hours a day if I don’t log on after bedtime.

When we had our nanny full time, we kept her to about 36-39 hours a week (which was her choice). With your schedule, it seems like you may need an additional part-time person.
Our nanny works 50 hrs a week no problem. She and I overlap for 30-45 min every morning. My husband relieves her most days while I finish up work (15-30 minutes). She has activities most days after work so to her the most important thing is to get to those on time. With 50 hrs a week, we pay 10 hrs of OT.
Came to say this. Exactly what we do.
50 hours a week is fairly normal for a FT nanny. Most of ours have have been on a salary that was built on 50 and sometimes they worked more when we traveled and we paid accordingly. Key is to communicate upfront on hours requirements so they can decide if this is what they want. Over the years we did a lot of different schedules to get coverage in case we had late work nights or travel. For a couple years when the kids were little we had 2 nannies that each worked 35 hours over 4 days so we had 7am-8pm coverage 5 days a week with a few hours overlap on the days they switched out. When the kids got into school we had a nanny do 7-7pm Mon - Thurs and we covered Friday’s ourselves as we could often work from home to do the school runs. We were often home for dinner etc but having the nanny around to help get ready for dinner etc made it easier for us to be able to get home and have dinner with kids and then take over for the night while the nanny tidied up dinner dishes.
