Hi All. I have offers from MobiKwik and Target for the role of Data Engineer.
Which organisation should I go fo?r. Please consider factors like job security, work quality and learning, WL balance and office culture.
They're both offering similar CTC and location is preferable in case of MobiKwik. My YoE is 3.

Hello All, I have offer in hand of 27.5 LPA+15% variable from ZS Associates as a BT Solutions delivery consultant and now my current company is ready to retain me by matching the offer & assuring that they will send me onsite to UK in couple of months. Now I am in a dilemma of what to do as I have been looking for onsite opportunities for my entire career so far. Kindly share your thoughts. I was in BigLaw for 9 years and left because I hit my savings target. FIRE kept me motivated. I’m now primarily supporting my wife’s career (BigLaw counsel) as her job has unparalleled flexibility and she legit enjoys it, so we’ll use that to get the rest of the way to full financial independence. For myself, I’m currently focused on writing, wildlife photography, and fitness goals. Its unlikely that I will return to the legal field in the future. I’ve written more about it here if interested: https://www.attorneyevolved.com/post/biglaw-early-retirement

This is my dream, I completely agree. Can I ask what is your practice area and how you found a remote tech job?
How long were in you in Big Law before leaving?
It's really a sliding scale I think depending on how good of a fit you are for what they are looking for. My wife went in house at a title company out of law school when worked at an AmLaw 200 firm for under 2 years before she found a tech unicorn that was looking for her exact niche. They were looking for someone with 5-7 years firm experience but hired my wife with less than 4 total and less than 2 years at a firm. She got a 50% raise and better hours. I think it's mostly a matter of keeping an eye out for when that perfect fit comes along.
So good to hear. I’m thinking of going in-house for the same reasons.
