What did your transition from AE to editor look like?

5 months ago I joined an advertising post house as a full-time AE. Through the support of a lead editor at the company I found my way into making cuts for the company’s most prestigious client. At this point, I’ve been the sole editor of one global campaign and a co-editor of another, in addition to cutting many social media videos. It’s only 5 months but I can’t help feel that my title doesn’t reflect the work I actually do.

I just started doing insurance defense 3 months ago. A few of my billing entries have been cut. I feel very bad. Does anybody have any tips for writing better time entries?

JD for strategy consulting? I have JD, and I am currently doing risk consulting (regulatory/compliance/legal oriented engagements). Considering applying for a few strategy consulting roles. Any skill sets I am missing (e.g., financial modeling, SWOT analysis, etc.) that I should learn first?

I'm entering my final year of law school but am going part time since I work full time as a paralegal. I have been a paralegal for more 10+ years and I want to open my own firm after I pass the bar.

I've worked at a lot of different size firms including a startup with a few attorneys and I was able to help with a lot of the ground work with getting the practice management system in place and still do some of that now at my current firm.
