For those who work at Chubb - how easy is it to transfer offices?

My husband is lined up for a promotion over the next few years which would require us to move. The company I work for now does not have an office in the city we'd move to, and they are not allowing employees to work remotely anymore. Chubb is one of a few carriers that has offices both where I live currently and where we'd need to move. I'm just trying to get a feel for how easy they'd be to work with on something like this.

I know someone who tried to relocate and they wouldn't let that person bc they were in a different dpt... I think if you're in one dept and the other location has that dpt there as well it would work out but has to go thru HR.

I had this exact thing happen to me. Needed to relocate and Chubb office did not have my particular UW department.

AWS vs Cloudflare BDR roles

AWS lowballed but I negotiated to match Cloudflare. Cloudflare offers more equity but AWS has a higher base.

I love Cloudflare. The people are great but it’s an engineering culture and the sales team isn’t as well shaped up and I can’t go for a promotion until at least 18 months of tenure. I am an investor in the company and think of them super highly. I’ve already got half a years SDR experience and AWS promotes quicker.

AWS has prestige but is it worth it?

Has anyone ever asked to renegotiate their salary after starting a job? I’m 2 months into my new job and I have far more responsibilities than what I was told. My peer has more experience so I expect that but I feel that I should be paid more, however I don’t want to leave a bad impression… any advice?
