YOE - 2.2
Gartner - 16LPA
Dunnhumby - 15 fixed + 1.5 Joining bonus+ 10% variable

Hi all- My SO is currently at a Big4 & was initially preparing for S&O roles at GCP but given the high number of ex MBB consultants hired, they believe its just more competition to get the offer & to eventually get promoted over time.

Instead, they have decided to pursue program manager or cloud consultant roles, which they feel might have a lower barrier to entry from an assessment standpoint. Not sure if the bowl agrees but would like to get your thoughts, thanks!

One of the best pieces of advice I received is to avoid micro-managing executive staff (agency leadership), as it puts downward and unwelcome pressure on people’s managers and ultimately oneself. Based on your experience in the last 2 years are there:

My title is technically Marketing Lead but I want to put Head of Marketing on my LinkedIn etc. I think of these titles as totally interchangeable—I just like the way the second one reads better. I feel stuck as a Strategy Manager and want to make a career pivot at 35. But have no idea what i should do? Any suggestions, resources or books that I should read to help with my existential mid thirties crisis? I have experience in technology consulting, corporate strategy, freelance consulting and law. Looking for advice fish fam. Deloitte vs EY-P. Same level - Manager/Director. EY-P pays $50k more for base and maybe $10 to $20k more as bonus. Currently at Deloitte. Is the extra $60-$70k worth giving up my network? Plan to stay in Consulting and hope to make SM/SD. I have a family and my wife is a homemaker. So money does matter. Would have left easily for an $80k bump. Wouldn’t leave for $30k or less. Don’t know what to do with $60k. Pulling my hair out here. HELP Please!!!
