I have some doubt regarding pf contribution... Say for example.. 12% of my base salary is 600 which gets deducted from my salary.. on the flip side.. the company has to contribute 600 to my pf (which is actually deducted from my salary only like already part of CTC)?. So my question again is that.. the company contributes 600 as well? PwC

I had HR discussion with cognizant on 11th June.As per HR I should have got offer letter in a week's time post approval.Till now I have no update from HR.sent many chasers as well called HR numerous times but no response.Any idea how long cogni HR takes to release offer letter.

Ask the HR : Given that Diwali Rangolis are 6-7 months later & Holi ones are already done, what is he/she busy with?
Always keep in mind whenever this kind of situation happens just check with your coworkers first if they have received it or not then approach if needed .
If everybody has not received it yet then there is no need to worry . Asking the HR will also not help .
I doubt if you are in intial stages of your career because later there can be scenario where you are being promised for a promotion for 7-8 months and in last you will receive it but you have to be patient .
Conclusion is you have to be a saint to survive in corporate . That works best in each case .
Even if you want to leave the company for any such issues then also leave like a saint .
I was not asking the HR for updates. We were discussing something else and this popped up at the end when I checked if work is alright generally!

Oh okay . But I don't think everyone will get offended by this conversation from HR . All I could think is HR could have conveyed it in a better way by stating an approximate date of increment letter .
