Just signed the outside employment form in KPMG onboarding system. I actually wanted to start dabbling in creative writing as a potentially monetizable hobby, but I'm guessing this may pose issues.
Definitely interested in the "exception from this policy may be requested if provision of non-professional services doesn't interfere with one's duties of causes conflict of interest" clause, though. Has anyone been able to get one of those before?

Took it 9 months ago. Just get the FoF study guide, binge watch the videos and you should be able to pass it. If you don’t have any apex coding experience then do the Apex Specialist super badge and that should be enough. You don’t need to know LWC in detail (I only had like 3-4 questions on it.
D1 I have zero- like, zero zero coding experience. I'm fine with the theory(I train teammates on complex ways to use flows), but I've struggled with getting started with the syntax any time I've tried the trails (they seem to assume a higher base level of experience with coding than I have). Do you think FoF starts at a "dumb" enough level for me?
Zero coding experience would probably be tough bc I don’t really know what would go over your head. I’d say you should understand SOQL, OOP basics, Control Structures (if and for blocks), and primitive data types before going thru the FoF course.
1 - Has the PD1 exam evolved significantly over the past 3.5 years ?
2 - if it has, will learning the last gen technology still be important/helpful in getting through PD1?
I know I'll never be a 10x coder, I really just want to be knowledgeable enough to pass PD1 and be able to understand apex/lwc/etc to be able to recognize and design using them, with the expectation that someone (something? *cough*chat GPT*cough*) else will be digging in to write it (and I can assist with troubleshooting as needed)

You need to be able to read code (E.g. Which of these correctly writes a method to do xyz), not write it, to pass PD1, and barely even that. Know the difference between VF, LWC, and Apex. Know what unit tests are,, code coverage requirements, and what happens if those requirements aren't met. How and why to run anonymous Apex. PD1 is way less scary than it seems, if not "easy"!
OP, maybe you shouldn't aim for "full stack" architect then? By definition, these positions require a hybrid technical and functional skillset.

Salesforce Application Architect requires PD1, it is not a "full stack" cert.
