Getting together for a weekend with 7 other high school friends in Denver in early November. Looking at Westin downtown, Renaissance and Hyatt. Any recommendations for night life and hotel in Denver?

Westin is nice, and centrally located.

Hyatt grand is quite nice. Calmer than the Regency.

Not lodo. Highlands area has more trendy restaurants and cool bars. If you want a weird cool Denver bar, tree room 5. There's also a speak easy called Williams and graham but if you go I would make reservations. Little man is a popular ice cream place there too. South broadway has some cool bars, it has a chiller vibe. Historians has a rooftop and is popular although I guess it could be cold in November. Good restaurants in RiNo too. Nativ is this hotel that's actually a club downtown.

There are a couple of good dispensaries near the Westin

Thank you!

The renaissance is nice downtown stayed there every week for a long term gig in Denver. It's relatively new / renovated and it has a decent member lounge and a great breakfast spread! There are tons of amazing places to eat downtown as for nightlife not sure on that front.

Is it misleading to just look at Total Compensation from a $ dollar value/ Total Compensation seems to be much more subjective than base salary in terms of its value. Some factors might be:

RSUs granted on dollar value or by # of shares & stock price trends
Vesting schedule
strike price on ISOs & delta between strike price and real market value

For instance, most of value in Amazon's comp seems to be granted in years 3 & 4, but it's well known that most people last only 2 years max there.

Currently a paralegal at a small start up financial services company been there for just a little over a year. I wear “multiple hats” but more recently I’ve done a lot of PM work and some BA work.
