One of the reasons I want to transition from industry to consulting (tier 1) is that I get frustrated when I have to collaborate with mediocre people. My assumption is that Tier 1 consulting firms hire really sharp people and if I can get in, I’ll be collaborating with folks on top of their game (not expecting much from clients). I’m aware there are personal aspects I need to work on like my mindset, patience etc etc, but I just get so frustrated with blatant stupidity.

I joined a new company one week back but I'm planning to resign.
It's a standard IT MNC with 10k+ employees. CTC is really good. Work is okay.
I haven't started working yet, onboarding process is 3 weeks long

Now I got another offer.
Pay is same.
The offer is exciting - the technology stack is much more modern (Go), the role is a hybrid one (70% Dev, 30% management) with option to change later. The culture is amazing.
Company is 9 years old with 200 employees.

I have 2 years market research experience in Chemicals, Agro and Food domains and am now looking for opportunities to switch to the client side Market Intel teams. Is it too early for me consider the switch? I'm already stagnating in my present role.

I graduated two years ago with a Chemical Engineering degree. Do client side companies like HUL, Gen Mills, DuPont, look for more experienced candidates, and is there a way I can make a cut?
