GM fellas. What mood are we in today

I’m a financial advisor (Series 7 and 66) and I really wish I would have become an accountant or investment banker. I like advising, but it’s a grind to find people to make new clients to sell to in order to survive. Are there any exit strategies for a successful young 26 y/o advisor to move to investment banking or a salaried advisor job?

Can anyone explain the Chubb underwriting associate training? Is it in person or hybrid? Interview process? Looking to make a transition from education.

I recently applied to graduate school for a Master’s at my old undergraduate college and a prestigious name-brand school. I kind of find it hilarious that the name brand-school accepted me while my old college rejected me. I find that I am much more ambitious regarding my career than my friends. I work a corporate job, have a consulting business, and I’m getting my masters degrees.

I love my friends, their focus is just in different aspects of their lives and that’s awesome but I often wish I had a few friends who I could talk about career development, goals, etc with.

One of my closest friends have become so incredibly negative and self obsessed with her petty problems lately. I feel like all I do everyday is listen to her whine and complain! I’ve been trying to be supportive but at the same time I’m making positive changes in my own life and in my own mindset. How can I continue to be supportive while her attitude and negativity affect me and weigh me down? 😩

My wife is a great mother. She, however, is not very physically affectionate and always has a million excuses. I crave physical affection both in the bedroom and in general. I’ve communicated this many times and nothing has changed. It’s driving me nuts and making me feel completely unwanted. I work hard for our family and try to do things around the house as well but often work many more hours overall. Not really sure the point of writing all this out, I just hate it.
