Hyatt, assuming they have properties where your projects are. They treat their elites way better than the other chains.
If not, Bonvoy over Hilton
Agree with D1. My biggest issue with Hyatt is the lack of suburban and international locations. If I’m in a city center they tend to be fine but otherwise it’s very hit or miss.
And I refuse to create long commutes for me or those who may travel with me when Marriott or Hilton tend to have something much closer.
You’ll have to see what properties are near where your clients tend to be. Obviously this becomes easier if you have recurring projects on some or most of your clients.
I’m lifetime titanium at Marriott, and while that should make me not care about what chain I use since I maintain high status at Marriott regardless of what I do, I still wind up staying with them more often than not due to property locations. I’d much rather stay in a Courtyard with a 5 minute commute than have a 30 minute commute to a higher end Hyatt (or anyone else’s) property.
Appreciate the response folks - that was my thoughts as well.
Problem is I don’t have Hyatt status and my corporate program isn’t refreshed yet (for quick Hyatt status). Trying to decide if I should keep going with Marriott for a bit or start from scratch with Hyatt and then match when I get the chance/sprint.
If AA is your preferred airline, Hyatt offers a status match. I'm not sure of the details since I'm a Delta person
