Good morning Engineers and All who are reading this post!!!
Happy New year. I hope all your dreams/goals are accomplished this year and way beyond what you thought they would be possible!
I have learned something incredible on 2025, and this year, I will make it my thing.

Find the process that works for you, fall in love with it, everything else will follow, (Like Money and stuff)

I am going to focus in my process and be happy every day I make it happen, and let time dictate the rest :)

Happy New Year! Loving the positivity. And very intrigued by what you've discovered - it sounds like you might be starting your own business? Is that true?

Hello my friend.
Side hustle as of right now and yes, my dream is for this to be my anytime type of work :)
Trading Futures has been increasingly going better for me.

Thank you, and Happy New Year to you! I appreciate the jolt of positive attitude. I like that outlook, if you've come upon a plan that seems promising, you have to trust the process.

Yes!!!
Trust the process indeed!

Happy new year!

What was the process that works? I spent my break passively cleaning the organizational slate from last year and preparing for the upcoming year. Hoping to start fresh and keep up with things.

It is different for everyone, but for me, I no longer focus on the money part but my value.
I give value to my peers and company, and I am also building something on the side with this outlook, and it is working in all fronts!!!!

I started in big law M&A 8 months ago and I’m super miserable. I don’t love the work or the stress/anxiety that comes with deal work. I also feel like I’m not picking up on it as fast as my peers/able to juggle as many deals at once as the firm would like. I’m thinking about making a switch to in house work, preferably commercial contact work. Seems like the hours and stress would be more manageable in that type of role. Any advice or insight?

Hi all,
Please help me understand if I should accept this position or not?
I was working as a regular staff therapist for 2 years at an assisted living when just 2 weeks back the HR approached me with an offer to work at a newly opened senior living, so basically I will helping them set up that location from scratch, open it and get it running. For doing all this they have not even clearly offered me a promotion, raise or a change in position. What should I do?

Please help🙏🏻

I'm an engineer, and I feel like my manager is more of a friend than anything else. We talk about our personal lives, and I feel like it's hard to be completely honest with her when she's so casual with me. I don't want to lose our friendship, but I also need to be able to talk honestly with someone who has the power to help me grow professionally. Is there a way to have both?
