Good morning! I'm transitioning from litigation to in-house and having difficulty with the application/interview process. Haven't heard back from in-house job postings and trying to figure out why. Open to hearing and connecting with folks regarding how they tailored their resume to make it stand out more against in-house applicants, and other strategies employed.

How do find a recruiter in the legal field? Have been looking for a job for a year now and trying to transition into another practice area. Applied to more than 20 jobs and still no offers. I feel like I might need some help.

Feeling like I’ve been “bait-and-switched”…

I’ve been interviewing at an agency with the intention of filling a Director role. Recruitment reached out soon after my last meet-and-greet interview (about 6 to 7 people total) to tell me the team thinks I would be best suited for an Associate Director role with a fast follow of a Director promotion.

Recruitment can’t tell me what feedback is creating this gap but also won’t stop mentioning the positive praise and feedback the team had for me.

My Last CTC is 6.5
There budget was upto 10 when i asked but feels like they playing me for my desperation to start working.

I’ve been here in the states for over 10 years and looking back I am amazed by how I survived corporate America and how tolerant my colleagues have been towards me.
