I had referred my friend in CTS, who joined in Feb 2022 & will complete 3 months (active payroll) on 15-May-2022. I received a mail confirming my referral acceptance.

If the firm needed to lay you off this week, they would without hesitation. Do what you gotta do for you, the firm will survive. The only thing I recommend is telling your teams personally so they don’t hear it through the grape vine
There’s never a “good” time to resign. Do what’s best for you!
Leave. If the firm held us to only leaving when we aren’t busy you really could only leave over the summer (unless you get picked for inspection then that takes up your summer). We shouldn’t be limited in our careers because we have crazy schedules, I would reach out to your teams and let them know.

The way I see it, these firms are so big they will figure it out. They can always bring in people from another office , temps or even bring people from overseas (which they do during busy season) . Timing happens to be bad but sometimes it can be really hard to find another job and this is when it happens to work out, so you do you!
