Apply now. It won’t be held against you.

No. But that’s okay - you’ll be post-mba before your mba would have ended anyway.
Apply now but M7 with 50% ride is a golden opportunity. I’d take it for sure
Apply and see if you get in. If you don't, which is the most likely outcome, then you can go to M7 and try again or pursue other opportunities. If you do get in, then join, see if you like it, and decide if it is worth passing up or deferring your MBA admission.
I believe most firms require you to wait a year after an unsuccessful application before applying again. So if you apply now and don't make it, you won't be eligible for MBA internship recruiting in the fall. Also at least at McK, that experience would likely make you an experienced-hire BA (pre-MBA role but higher comp than a campus-hire BA). In the past there have only been a couple of these hired per year, but I'm not sure how that changes with the current hiring push.
May not be true consistently. A few years ago, Bain told me that my pre-MBA application history was irrelevant, because the decision as to who might be a good consultant in 2 years post-MBA is handled differently than who might be a good experienced hire in 2 months.
Also more broadly, would y’all forego the MBA to join MBB if given the opportunity?

You can also try to get mba sponsorship
OP, happy to refer you

Apply now for the senior analyst, experienced analyst type roles. If you get it parlay into mba sponsorship. If you don’t get it then go do your mba and come in post mba

Yea I get what you’re saying and I’m not at an MBB, so you may know better than me —- but I still think they waive the rule in this situation (if you get caught in the first place) simply because several months of MBA is objectively turning you into a stronger applicant.
I think we’re just debating hypotheticals. We’re giving the same advice end of day
