Got offered a contract that’s “part-time” but expects full-time availability. The rate is decent, but they want me on call five days a week, including nights and weekends if needed. There’s no guaranteed minimum hours, but they still want me to turn down other work “just in case.” I’ve been burned by this before and ended up working 40+ hours for part-time pay. Would you take the flexibility?
