Got promoted to C this year but still anticipate being underpaid. My director pretty much confirmed that given market conditions. I want to switch jobs to be paid fairly faster. Given I know my value compared to my peers, do I wait until September when promotions go into effect and I’m actually a C to start applying to jobs? I also won’t know my new salary until end of August. Can I negotiate a salary not based on current pay but what I should be at compared to my peers?

Worked for 10.5yrs in Infy Package is 11L and now I have an offer from Enquero(Genpact) for 20L and as a counteroffer from Infy:- 40% hike + Canada visa or 70% hike

Guys, I interviewed at amex gurgaon 10days ago and was told by VP that I will hear from HR very soon. But when I checked on HR yesterday, she said interviews are still in progress and it will take a week more to finalize.
I want to know do they take this long to close a position? This opening was posted on 30th Sep.. It's already been 1.5 months. This is when they said the position was urgent!! 🙄

I have been giving interview from last 2 months and yet I haven't got a single offer and people here are getting multiple offers. Even if interview goes nice, I would get rejection mail.

I guess Luck matters a lot even if you perform well. There would be always someone who will do better than you.

I am getting demotivated, but have to continue trying hard.
