Seeking advice on career paths within tech after bizops. Currently in bizops and former consultant, and while the work is fine I’ve realized that bizops feels similar to consulting and in the long term I’m looking for a role that has more ownership and ideally more analytical. I’ve been an Admin Assistant for 5 years with the last 2 in a government. I have worked hard to get here thinking this is what I wanted. Now that I’m here, making 40k CAD/yr. I feel like I’ve hit a glass ceiling and I’m desperate for more money and responsibilities - my job is way too easy. But not many opportunities for growth. Any suggestions on where to go from here?

Is getting a certificate from INSEAD worth it? Company will pay for it, but I don’t want to waste the time outside of work if others haven’t had valuable experiences.

Currently stuck in risk but interested in Cyber. Have done one related engagement from a regulatory perspective. But a lot of posts here making me think it’s harder to break into than I expected (non-technical background). If you had a six sigma green belt / supply chain degree/exp., would you still go through the effort of going into Cyber or take easy risk money being offered / easier transition back to supply chain? 2-3 YOE and trying to decide career course, any advice highly appreciated

Hi Everyone, Started my career in government 5 years ago working in an operational role, then focussed on HR for 3 years working my way up to a middle manager role in HR as a business partner and completed my Level 7 CIPD. I don’t think HR or government is for me anymore and looking to find something new, now 24 feel I have a lot of transferable skills and knowledge but worried about private companies in other professions taking me seriously. Gained knowledge of cyber security and planning to switch . Infosys currently agreeing to switch to IVS unit however not agreeing to any salary hike or Hybrid or WFH Model

On other hand has offer from Israel product based telecom company on Devops role with 60% salary hike and hybrid work policy(planning to switch domain to cyber security 1 year later)

Which is the better option to go for ?

Any tips for moving up in a medium/large-sized legal department, aside from switching companies? I work in a collegial environment with plenty of opportunities to create more value, but the management level is fairly crowded and it seems the clearest path to get one of those roles is to be hired into it.
