I’ve been trying to get into the top tier Associate Product Marketing Manager position Google for some time now for just an interview and I feel like business majors somehow have such a stronger chance in getting interviewed especially my business school and I feel really discouraged as an Econ Major and I have a lot of marketing experience that I’ve built over the years. Are there any non-business majors in the tech realm in non technical positions at Google that can advise me?

It means follow up follow up follow up
It means they’ll check your book again once there’s a position
Are you disabled? Are you over 50? Are you ethnic? Its all code for “We wouldn’t hire you in a million years. “ This is a nasty business, and getting worse by the day.
Did you cold call? If you just sent it in without a prompt, I don't know what you were expecting. If it was in response to an application for an open position you applied to, it will never be looked at again. If you apply for a new position in the future, they'll look at it again without ever having remembered you.
Agencies aren't always hiring. There are several currently under years long hiring freezes.
Means they're all terrible with grammer because it's "we'll". Phew. You dodged a bullet.
It means they are laying off people right now, not hiring. It means stay in touch...keep emailing them. They honestly like you but there are no jobs there. But its not like theyll remember you specifically when they do have a job. Keep writing (in an entertaining way) and it might work out.
@CD2 does it really mean that? I mean that’s my fear...because agencies are always hiring “good people” right?
